About the Role
The Stockpiles Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stockpile management system, working closely with various teams to maintain optimal availability and minimize losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control stockpile levels to ensure optimal availability and minimal loss
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Track incoming and outgoing materials and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and procurement teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Generate reports on stockpile status, usage trends, and variances
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues or irregularities
- Implement and improve stock control procedures and systems
Requirements
National Diploma in Civil Engineering, or related field
5 years of experience in stockpile management, inventory control, or similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (especially in mining or bulk materials environments)
