Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail?oriented Trainee Accountant to support multiple business units, including Workshops, Warranty, Scrapyard, Fleet and Reporting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Administer daily, weekly and monthly financial and operational activities across Workshops, Warranty, Scrapyard, Fleet and Reporting divisions.
- Open, maintain and close job cards on Syspro, including accurate costing and reconciliation.
- Process GRNs, invoices, van orders, intergroup transactions and external billing.
- Scan, upload, file and maintain all financial and operational documentation on relevant shared folders.
- Prepare and post monthly journals, including turnover, labour, consumables, inter?division charges and provisions.
- Compile monthly turnover summaries, management reports and Excel reconciliations.
- Process stock take imports, cycle counts and consumables clean?ups on Syspro.
- Prepare and issue invoices to internal and external divisions.
- Maintain intergroup accounts and ensure balances remain accurate and up to date.
- Complete vehicle administration, including move forms, vehicle tracking and fleet reconciliations.
- Administer warranty invoicing, claims processing and related financial journals for Bloemfontein and Johannesburg.
- Reconcile scrapyard vehicle lists, confirm vehicle movements and verify external purchase payments.
- Prepare and monitor projection reports, financial state uploads and budgeting inputs.
- Assist with the preparation, review, approval and loading of annual budgets.
- Compile and submit monthly Stannic reports across all applicable business units, ensuring approvals and timely distribution.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, finance teams and management to resolve queries and support reporting requirements.
- Perform regular reconciliations, accuracy checks and ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
- Meet strict deadlines while managing a high volume of tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
