A leading company within the plastic manufacturing and injection moulding industry is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, establishing partnerships, and driving growth across several global markets. He is also responsible for helping the organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. Coordinate with company executives and sales and marketing professionals to review current market trends to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins. The BDM is a pioneering role in conjunction with managing relationship with a broad scope of key players in the industry. The BDM will be identifying and driving large-complex sales and development opportunities over multiple divisions in a diverse company portfolio.
Responsibilities:

BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
-
Minimum 710 years experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role
-
Proven sales track record
-
Global/International business experience
-
Account management experience (ability to maintain C-level relationships)
-
Experience in closing complex, multi-level sales deals
-
Strong contract negotiation and closing skills
-
Experience within a technical or sales environment
-
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Odoo)

Detailed business financial knowledge
-
Solution Sales Master (or equivalent) certification preferred

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of business development professionals

Set clear direction, goals, and KPIs to ensure alignment with company objectives

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture

Train the team in lead generation, networking, negotiation, and CRM best practices

Introduce and manage digital sales tools to streamline processes
Sales & Growth

Achieve growth and profitability through strategic sales targets and GP goals

Develop and execute business plans and roadmaps for achieving KPIs

Negotiate contracts and drive opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and product innovation

Coordinate the execution of business plans across multiple departments

Track and manage sales leads, pipelines, and forecasts in CRM systems

Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and potential acquisitions
Reporting & Performance Tracking

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Provide regular progress, performance, and forecast reports to management

Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates on client activities, pipeline, and outcomes

Analyze sales and market data to identify areas for improvement and growth
Business Development & Strategy

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and global markets

Develop and implement commercial strategies for business expansion

Build and manage opportunity teams for large-scale projects

Engage with clients as a trusted advisor to tailor solutions to their needs

Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform business strategy
