About the Role
Our client, a Food Manufacturing Company based in Cape Town, is seeking a skilled QA Technologist to join their team. As a key member of the quality assurance department, you will be responsible for implementing and verifying best practices in line with our Food Service Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and verify best practices continuously in line with the company Food Service Management System
- Implement, review, and maintain quality control checks, sampling, and interpretation/trending to routinely evaluate the performance
- Conduct/oversee internal training sessions with the staff ensuring compliance with related quality principles
- Develop schedule and perform internal audits
- Maintain all documents and records according to the company Document Management System (DMS)
- Stock control of PPE and Consumables to always ensure sufficient stock
- Ensuring compliance with external auditing requirements and assisting with gathering required records during audits
- Conduct, interpret and trend routine micro swabbing to verify cleaning efficacy (allergens, micro and pathogens)
