Job Description

Ensure that daily financial records are kept accurately and complete Ensure that correct procedures are followed for completion of documents, submissions and payments are done timeously Process accounting transactions and ability to pull reports to ensure that all accounts are reconciled correctly on a monthly basis, including the following: Assist with Bank Reconciliations and administration Assist with Cashbook and credit card processing Assist Journal entries and General Ledger maintenance Creditors applications, reconciliations and payment preparation Maintain good electronic filing system and archiving at all times Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Accounting (preferably Retail) Computer Literate with MS Word, Excel (intermediate level) & Outlook Knowledge of accounting will be a prerequisite The ability to work under pressure High attention to detail Accurate, neat, meticulous and professional approach to record keeping, administrative tasks Excellent communication skills Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports Qualification: Matric National Diploma/ Certificate in Accounting For more information contact: CORNE JONKER – EXECUTIVE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT on

Job Description

Job Description: Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Manage the timekeeping system Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger records Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations across international entities Provide support with year-end audit preparation and documentation Assist with ad-hoc projects, analysis, and reporting as required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years working experience in a finance or accounting role Strong Excel and financial systems skills Curios to take initiative i.e if there is a better way speak up Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Excellent communication and organisational skills Own work from home setup (relevant workspace, computer/laptop, strong internet connection). Job Description

Job Description: Handle the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices, payments, receipts, and general journal entries Complete routine reconciliations for bank accounts, creditors, and debtors Compile monthly management accounts and basic financial reporting packs Keep the general ledger accurate and up to date, including all supporting schedules Assist with the preparation of budgets and track performance against approved figures Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns within required timelines Support audit processes by gathering documentation and addressing auditor requests Manage petty cash and verify staff reimbursement claims Generate customer invoices, distribute them to the correct stakeholders, and follow up on overdue amounts Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure prompt payments and collections Maintain the fixed asset register and update depreciation calculations Adhere to internal policies and relevant accounting frameworks to ensure compliance Assist with improving financial processes and maintain organised filing and document control Provide general administrative and financial support to management as needed Skills & Experience: A completed Degree in finance or Accounting 6 months of experience in accounting or finance related roles Proficient in Microsoft Excel Understanding of basic accounting principles Qualification: Completed BCom degree in finance or Accounting Contact BRITNEY HATTINGH on

Job Description

Capturing and processing supplier invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries Performing bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations on a regular basis Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports for basic entities Maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger and supporting schedules Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring of actual vs budget variances VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns and submissions Assisting with audit preparations, including compiling supporting documentation and responding to auditor queries Reconciling petty cash and staff expense claims Issuing and sending out invoices to relevant entities and following up on outstanding payments Monitoring accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments Maintaining fixed asset register and depreciation schedules Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards Contributing to process improvements and maintaining proper filing and document control Performing ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as required by management Skills & Experience: Minimum of 6 months relevant accounting or finance experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage) Good understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Qualification: BCom Degree in finance For more information contact: CORNE JONKER – EXECUTIVE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT on

With a strong focus on operational efficiency and financial accuracy, they are committed to training the next generation of accounting professionals. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive finance team in a fast-moving, purpose-driven business. The Role: Junior Accountant This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive junior accounting professional looking to develop a well-rounded finance skill set. You’ll provide key support across daily transactional processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting tasks. With full training provided, this is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and grow your career within an established yet evolving company. Key Responsibilities 1-2 years of accounting experience or relevant qualification Assist in processing bank transactions, petty cash, sales, and purchase invoices Support with bank and petty cash reconciliations Help with foreign currency bank/petty cash revaluations Match and reconcile supplier accounts and balance sheet items Maintain the fixed asset register and assist in calculating depreciation Assist with income statement adjustments, accruals, and prepayments Conduct general ledger investigations and support resolution of discrepancies Provide admin support: filing, updating records, processing documentation About You 1-2 years of experience in accounting support, or recent graduates with practical training Studying towards or completed a diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Proactive, accountable, and able to follow structured processes Strong time management and organisational skills Clear communicator with a positive attitude towards teamwork
