About the Role

A leading law firm is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join its expanding Sports Law Division. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing strategic advisory services and representation to clients across various sectors of the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial litigation and dispute resolution
  • Arbitration and tribunal proceedings
  • Contractual disputes
  • Labour and employment-related disputes
  • Regulatory and governance advisory
  • Drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements
  • Sports disciplinary and integrity matters
  • Strategic advisory work involving clubs, federations, and commercial stakeholders in sport

Requirements

  • Admitted attorney in South Africa
  • 18 years post-admission experience

  • Experience appearing in adversarial proceedings
  • Ability to manage matters with relative independence
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills
