About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Admitted Attorney with a strong background in Road Accident Fund (RAF) matters to join our team as a RAF Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex claims and providing expert legal advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle RAF claims independently, ensuring timely and efficient resolution for clients
  • Draft pleadings, notices, affidavits, and settlement proposals in accordance with the Road Accident Fund Act
  • Attend court appearances and trials, representing clients and advocating their interests
  • Conduct consultations with clients, experts, and counsel to gather information and build cases
  • Liaise with the Road Accident Fund and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
  • Manage litigation timelines and court deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare trial bundles and briefs to counsel, providing a comprehensive overview of the case

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 3 Years experience as an Admitted Attorney
  • Proven experience in handling Road Accident Fund matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent
  • Admission to the Attorneys Roll (BAR)
