Cape Town City Centre: Quality Control Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Technician to join our team in Cape Town’s city centre from 1 June. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all products manufactured within the facility meet quality standards, comply with legal requirements, and maintain food safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections and checks of the production facility, identifying and reporting any deviations.
  • Perform regular plant hygiene inspections and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Verify in-line quality control (QC) checks to maintain consistent product standards.
  • Ensure all required quality checks are completed and properly recorded.
  • Investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions for non-conformances related to system deviations or unsafe products.
  • Coordinate and monitor corrective and preventative action (CAPA) systems.

Requirements

Relevant Quality, Food Safety, or similar qualification. Minimum of 3 years experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing or food production environment. Grade 12 (Matric). Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. Valid drivers license and own transport.
