About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Controller to join our team in Silverton, Pretoria. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials and finished products
- Conduct inspection and testing of vehicles
- Measure and verify components using precision measuring tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Identify and report non-conforming products
- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation
- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a Quality-related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Proficiency in using quality inspection and measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
- Experience in defence, automotive, aerospace, or heavy industry (advantageous)
- Knowledge of MIL-STD or defence quality standards (advantageous)
