About the Role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to join their dedicated wealth insurance team in Durban North. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating, advising, and managing a portfolio of high-value clients, with a focus on delivering tailored risk solutions to affluent individuals who expect a premium level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new high-net-worth insurance clients
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance needs analyses and risk assessments
  • Design and present customised insurance solutions tailored to client requirements
  • Oversee the full client and policy lifecycle, including onboarding, servicing, renewals, and claims management
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships through personalised client engagement
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including claims trends, renewals, and policy suitability
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, documentation, and FAIS requirements
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless client service delivery
  • Grow and manage a profitable client portfolio while maintaining exceptional service standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within short-term insurance, specifically personal lines
  • Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth individuals
  • FAIS compliant (RE, credits, and Fit & Proper requirements completed)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and policy structuring
  • Experience across both sales and client servicing functions
  • Strong negotiation, advisory, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage a client portfolio independently from start to finish
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication abilities
