About the Role
Objective Personnel is seeking an experienced Regional Technical Manager to lead electrical systems across multiple factories and facilities within the GCC region. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, manage projects, and oversee maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical leadership for electrical systems across multiple factories and facilities within the GCC region.
- Ensure all electrical operations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices for safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Develop, implement, and enforce preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency.
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion (e.g., hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial projects).
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any technical or operational challenges that arise during the course of the project.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians across the region.
- Provide technical training and ensure continuous professional development for team members.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the engineering teams.
- Oversee the maintenance of electrical systems and assets, including power distribution, lighting systems, backup generators, HVAC systems, and any other critical infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and the implementation of safety protocols in all facilities.
- Analyze electrical system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Develop and manage the budget for electrical operations and projects across the region.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of electrical systems, project status, and other key metrics to senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high operational standards.
- Work closely with the regional operations and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems and services.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Requirements
- At least 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in facilities management, and project management across multiple sites.
- Proven experience managing electrical systems in large-scale projects, such as hospitals, industrial plants, or commercial buildings.
- Hands-on experience in managing electrical installations, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience in managing teams, vendors, and contractors in a multi-site environment.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the GCC region (e.g., IEC, NFPA, local building codes).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEng, etc.).
