About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Business Unit Head to direct and control their business operations, giving strategic guidance and direction for the company to achieve its financial vision, mission, and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Business development including research and implement new initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs while maintain quality products that are competitive, all while delivery excellent customer support.
- Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of developments with companys objectives.
- Ensure employees move in the same strategic direction to achieve its mission.
- Remain close to all stakeholders including the cluster heads, employees, clients, key-decision makers and external service suppliers.
- Manage resources, including the attracting, hiring and retention of talent.
- Manage and report on the effective implementation of a marketing strategy to maintain market relevance and promote products and services to increase sales within area of responsibility
- Manage key personnel, clients and service providers.
- Oversee and develop a team of multi-skilled individuals setting clear expectations, empowering and mentoring employees, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring continuous improvement, and aligning performance with business goals and leadership values.
- Participate in budgeting, align individual targets with national objectives, monitor project progress within budget and timelines, and ensure effective management of all associated budgets.
Requirements
Engineering Degree or B.Tech, Professionally qualified, and Post Grad management courses.
Preferred – BSc. Engineering Degree and Professionally Registered Engineer, Post Grad management courses
Function related experience: 5 years
Leading teams: 10 years
Project experience: 15 years
Other experience: 15 years in Energy and Power Management industry
