About the Role
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating mechanical engineering deliverables across multiple projects within an EPS / project execution environment. The role involves close collaboration with process, piping, structural, electrical and automation teams, as well as hands-on involvement during fabrication, assembly, testing and site installation. You will have broad exposure across the full project lifecycle, from detailed design and procurement through to execution and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate mechanical engineering deliverables across multiple projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process, piping, structural, electrical and automation aspects of projects
- Participate in fabrication, assembly, testing and site installation activities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering inputs and manage multiple deliverables concurrently
Requirements
- Minimum of 38 years experience in mechanical project engineering within industrial or process environments
- Proven experience in process plant or modular plant projects
- Industry exposure within mining, hydrometallurgy, metallurgical processing, oil and gas, petrochemical or chemical processing environments
- Experience with capital equipment, EPC or EPS project execution environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
