Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer Lead to provide technical leadership, solution design, and hands-on development across the Salesforce ecosystem. The successful candidate will lead Salesforce development initiatives, mentor developers, drive best practices, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions aligned to business objectives.
This role requires strong expertise in Salesforce platform development, integration architecture, DevOps practices, stakeholder engagement, and Agile delivery within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.
- Lead the development of Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Salesforce integrations.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
- Review technical designs and code to ensure quality and maintainability.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Conduct code reviews and establish development standards.
- Lead technical discussions and solution architecture workshops.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the Salesforce platform.
Integration & Architecture
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and solution architects to align Salesforce solutions with enterprise architecture standards.
- Support API management, authentication, and security implementations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution workshops, and estimation sessions.
- Provide technical guidance throughout project delivery lifecycles.
DevOps & Delivery
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps best practices.
- Manage deployment processes across environments.
- Support release planning, testing, and production deployments.
- Ensure adherence to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Quality & Governance
- Ensure platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain Salesforce security and compliance standards.
- Support technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Participate in production support and incident resolution when required.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Proven experience leading Salesforce development teams.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Strong experience in Agile environments.
- Financial Services, Insurance, Telecommunications, or large enterprise experience preferred.
