WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a client to recruit a detail-oriented and analytically strong Tax Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technical tax work, client account support, and working across global VAT and indirect tax compliance processes. The role is well suited to a professional who combines accuracy, strong Excel capability, and a client-focused approach.
About the Role
As Tax Associate, you will manage designated client accounts and provide technical VAT support across their global operations. Youll be responsible for a blend of compliance delivery, technical research, client and tax authority communication, and quality control support for key accounts. This is a strong fit for someone who is organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working with both data and stakeholders in a compliance-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture, process, and analyse tax-related data
- Prepare and file VAT returns, ECSL submissions, and Intrastat reports
- Perform VAT compliance checks and support quality control processes
- Conduct technical VAT and indirect tax research
- Handle client and tax authority queries, providing accurate and timely responses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and relevant internal team members
- Deliver relevant information clearly and effectively to stakeholders
- Communicate with clients, partners, and tax authorities as required
- Support audit preparation and responses
