Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Field Guide to join our luxury private game lodge in Ladysmith, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and contributing to the overall success of our safari operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting guided safaris
- Ensuring the safety, comfort and enjoyment of guests throughout their safari experience
- Hosting guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing informative and engaging insights
- Facilitating guest transfers to and from safari destination when required
- Creating compelling content for social media platforms through still and video photography
- Assisting with lodge & reserve maintenance
Requirements
- FGASA Level 1 (NQF2)
- Valid First Aid PDP
- Valid driver’s licence
- DEAT NDT registration
- Advanced 4×4 driving course qualification would be a bonus
- Must be mature, confident, stable and an analytical thinker
- Highly presentable and well-spoken
- Guest relations skills and confidence when hosting
- Sober habits
