About the Role
We are seeking a Project Procurement Management Professional to join our team in Midrand, Gauteng. As a key member of our operations senior management, you will be responsible for optimizing internal workflows and processes, establishing sourcing and procurement processes, and driving procurement strategies in projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in project/sales meetings as project core team member to optimize internal workflows and processes.
- Establishes proper sourcing and procurement processes, controlling all procurement resources and activities.
- Analyzes customer inquiries during bid preparation, understanding customer’s functional needs for supplier innovations.
- Supports project calculation with reliable material cost data.
- Analyses scope of supply and contract agreements, conducts risk analyses, and introduces negotiation recommendations.
- Drives procurement strategies in projects and ensures their implementation.
- Heads contractual and price negotiations/supports specialist buyers in particular material fields.
- Supplier quality management, enterprise development, procurement governance, and guiding procurement processes.
Requirements
- Completed Relevant Supply Chain Qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in various supply chain fields.
- 3 – 5 years SAP Experience.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
