TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Binder Claims Team Leader within the Financial Services division in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. Job Summary This role involves leading and developing the Binder Claims team while ensuring efficient claims processing, compliance with regulatory and binder agreement requirements, and the delivery of exceptional service standards. The Binder Claims Team Leader will oversee complex claims, drive process improvements, manage stakeholder relationships, and contribute to operational excellence. Responsibilities and Duties Lead, mentor, and support the Binder Claims team Review and oversee complex and high-value claims Monitor claims performance, turnaround times, and service level agreements Approve claims within delegated authority and escalate exceptional matters where required Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Identify development needs and coordinate training initiatives Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Manage relationships with insurers, underwriters, brokers, and service providers Resolve escalated client complaints and claims disputes Ensure compliance with binder agreements, FAIS requirements, and company policies Implement fraud detection and risk mitigation measures Conduct audits and maintain accurate claims records Prepare claims reports, trend analyses, and management reports Identify opportunities to improve claims processes, policies, and procedures Keep abreast of insurance legislation and industry best practices Qualifications and Skills Matric / Grade 12 RE5 Certificate Class of Business (Personal and Commercial) Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field (advantageous) 35 years’ experience in insurance claims management 2 years’ experience in a leadership role Strong understanding of binder agreements, claims processing, and regulatory requirements Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite Bilingual (Afrikaans and English) (advantageous) Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure Drivers Licence (Code 08) (advantageous) Take the next step in your career with TWK Agri, a trusted leader in agriculture and beyond. *The company can expire job adverts at any time at their own discretion.
