About the Role
Empilweni Home is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Mthatha facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the centre, including human resources, finances, and beneficiary management, while promoting the reputation of Empilweni Home and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all affairs of Empilweni Home, including human resources management, asset management, financial management, and beneficiary intake and management.
- Promote the reputation of the Centre.
- Ensure that all residents of Empilweni Home are receiving holistic care in respect of Physical, Psychological and Spiritual Wellbeing.
- Adhere to provisions of all relevant acts.
- Market and promote Empilweni Home.
- Attend Board Meetings and report to the board; act as a Secretariat for the board and take charge of securing minutes and board resolutions.
- Report to funding partners and all stakeholders.
- Fundraising for Empilweni Home.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in centre management or a related field.
- Strong human resources management skills.
- Excellent financial management skills.
- Ability to manage beneficiary intake and assets effectively.
- Strong marketing and promotion skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including funding partners and the board.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in a related field (e.g. social work, business administration).
- Experience in centre management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and marketing efforts.
