Pretoria: Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Developer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions across the Oracle EBS modules used within the client environment, in accordance with organisational governance, audit, security and change management standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced Oracle EBS technical development and third-level technical support.
  • Develop, enhance, support and maintain Oracle EBS technical components across relevant modules.
  • Support upgrades, patching, enhancements and third-party integrations.
  • Deliver RICEFW objects in line with approved business and technical requirements.
  • Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve complex Oracle application and database-related issues.
  • Produce clear, auditable technical documentation, including functional and technical design documents.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to agreed development standards.
  • Work closely with DBA teams, functional consultants, HR, Finance and audit stakeholders.
  • Escalate technical risks, blockers and scope deviations to the Application Manager timeously and in writing.
  • Ensure all development activities are performed within approved environments and in line with the clients governance and change control processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification, such as BSc Computer Science, BSc Information Technology, BTech Information Technology, BCom Informatics or Information Systems.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years hands-on technical development experience on Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2 and higher.
  • Proven track record of delivering RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows, within a project and/or support environment.
