About the Role
Eastern Personnel Consultants CC is seeking a reliable and experienced Vehicle Delivery Driver to join their team in Roodepoort. As a permanent, full-time position, you will be responsible for delivering packages to specified locations and branch transfers, while ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
• Picking up and delivering various packages to specified locations and branch transfers as per the delivery instructions provided.
• Verifying addresses and locations before each delivery to ensure that there are no errors.
• Carefully planning travel routes to ensure that packages are delivered to recipients in a timely manner.
• Securing packages to prevent damage during transit.
• Obtaining recipients’ signatures upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of the correct items.
• Collecting payments as required and ensuring that the correct amounts have been received.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all packages delivered to recipients.
Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen with a clean criminal background
- Valid drivers license (checks will be done on shortlisted applicants)
Salary & Benefits
R 8 050 (basic salary, not negotiable)
Provident Fund and December Bonus
