About the Role
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for driving business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability in a dynamic textile manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in senior leadership roles and a proven track record of delivering results-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and market expansion
- Oversee all manufacturing, production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain operations
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and cost optimisation initiatives
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and profitability targets
- Strengthen local and international market presence and identify new business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence programs
- Develop and mentor leadership teams while driving a high-performance culture
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimisation
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field (essential)
- MBA in Operations, Strategy, or Finance advantageous
- 1830 years’ experience within the Textile, Non-Woven, or Technical Textiles industry
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as COO, CEO, Business Head, or Plant Head
- Strong manufacturing, operational, and commercial management experience
