Operations Manager | Tanzania | Luxury Hospitality A premier, luxury hospitality collection is seeking a highly dynamic and seasoned OPERATIONS MANAGER to oversee the portfolio of high-end properties. Based in the strategic hub of Arusha, this pivotal role requires a hands-on leader who thrives on the move, as you will spend significant time traveling to our various properties to ensure flawless operational execution and maintain uncompromising standards of luxury. You will be the driving force behind the property management teams, translating high-level strategy into exceptional guest experiences and efficient, profitable day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Multi-Property Oversight: Provide strong leadership and strategic direction across multiple remote properties, ensuring consistency in brand standards, guest service, and operational efficiency. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire large, diverse teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous professional growth. Operational Excellence: Conduct regular site visits to audit logistics, supply chains, maintenance, and hospitality standards, implementing swift solutions where needed. Financial Accountability: Oversee property budgets, control operational costs, and maximize revenue performance across the portfolio. Guest Relations: Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining a flawless standard of luxury and personalized service. What We Are Looking For Proven Multi-Site Experience: A solid track record of successfully managing multiple hospitality properties concurrently (experience in luxury lodges and remote operations is highly advantageous). Large Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and align large teams across different locations. Willingness to Travel: This role demands high mobility; you must be willing and able to travel extensively and frequently to remote property locations. Strong Business Acumen: Robust financial management skills with a sharp eye for asset protection and cost control. Problem Solver: An adaptable leader with excellent communication skills who can make decisive, effective decisions under pressure in remote environments.
