Junior Stock Controller Location: Strand / Helderberg Industrial Park, Western Cape Company: Rein Oil Employment Type: Full-Time About Rein Oil Rein Oil is a leading supplier of edible oils and related products to restaurants, takeaways, food service providers, and national franchises across South Africa. Operating in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment, we pride ourselves on quality, service, efficiency, and reliability. Position Overview Rein Oil is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Stock Controller to join our operations team. This role is ideal for an energetic individual who enjoys both administrative stock control and hands-on operational involvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, supporting inventory processes, and assisting with operational activities where needed within the warehouse/manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control raw material, packaging, and finished goods stock levels Capture and reconcile stock movements accurately on internal systems Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts/cycle counts Investigate and report stock variances Assist with goods receiving and dispatch verification Ensure accurate documentation of stock transfers, adjustments, and returns Liaise with procurement, warehouse, production, and logistics teams regarding stock requirements Support operational staff with general warehouse/manufacturing activities when required Assist in maintaining housekeeping and stock organisation standards Ensure compliance with company stock control procedures and internal controls Ideal Candidate Attributes Proactive and self-motivated Reliable and trustworthy Organised with strong administrative discipline Able to balance desk-based and physical operational tasks Problem-solver with a practical mindset Remuneration Market-related salary, based on experience. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 13 years experience in stock control, inventory, warehouse, or similar role Strong computer literacy (Excel essential; ERP/stock systems advantageous) Numerically strong with good reconciliation ability High attention to detail and accuracy Hands-on attitude and willingness to assist operationally when required Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment Forklift licence advantageous (not essential)
