About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our 4-star Berg Resort team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for culinary excellence and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control
  • Lead a high-performing team of sous chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Implement and enforce HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus and kitchen strategies

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • At least 2 years in a senior sous chef/similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of kitchen cost control and budgeting
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Formal education or certification in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field (if applicable)
