About the Role
The Production Manager will oversee and manage all underground production activities, ensuring targets are achieved safely and efficiently while implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all underground production activities
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards
- Lead and supervise underground teams including Shift Bosses and Supervisors
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with mining regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and planning teams
- Manage production budgets and control costs
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
- Report on production performance to senior management
