About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin & Invoicing Clerk to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As an integral part of our administrative team, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our business operations, including invoicing, accounts management, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage invoices for valued customers
- Manage accounts and process credit notes
- Process telephonic orders
- Maintain customer information
- Resolve customer account queries
- Assist the Accounts Department with COD, EFT, and credit card reconciliation
- Manage courier administration
- Oversee and manage delivery documentation
- Confirm that orders are correct and reach customers on time
- Provide constant communication with customers regarding changes to their orders or deliveries
- Process product returns
- Support Marketing activities and provide administrative support to Sales Representatives
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely billing and collections
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required
- Open and lock up the office when required
Requirements
- Knowledge of and experience in the pet food industry is ideal
- Diligent and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- At least 2 years of experience in administration or invoicing is required

Salary & Benefits
Salary range: R 17 000 – R 21 000 per annum.
