About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management of our property in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our estate’s infrastructure and common areas, while also implementing operation policies and decisions approved by the Board of Trustees.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise the maintenance team responsible for the upkeep of the estate’s infrastructure and common areas.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Implement operation policies and decisions approved by the Board of Trustees.
- Ensure efficient functioning of estate services and infrastructure.
- Coordinate operational activities.
- Lead and supervise the estate maintenance team.
- Plan and coordinate routine, preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Monitor maintenance standards and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Oversee estate security operations and access control systems.
- Coordinate and supervise security service providers.
- Ensure implementation of security procedures and protocols.
- Monitor security reporting and incident management.
Requirements
- Experience in estate, facilities or property management.
- Strong organisational and contractor management skills.
- Practical, hands-on approach to operational management.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Own transport.
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
