About the Role

Our client, a well-established and reputable law firm located in Cape Town CBD, is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their branch office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conveyancing, particularly in transfer matters, and excellent administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling all transfer matters, including normal transfers, sectional title transfers, and drafting transfer documents and VAs (Correspondent work)
  • Managing the full lifecycle of a file from opening to finances and closure
  • Liaising and building professional relationships with agents and clients
  • Attending to general administrative duties

Requirements

  • 5 years of conveyancing experience
  • Working knowledge of Lexis Nexis, E4, Storedoc, WebConvey, Excel and MS Word
  • SARS eFiling (Transfer Duty) skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage matters from start to finish
  • Confident communicator with solid drafting and administrative skills

Relevant Conveyancing qualifications will apply.
