About the Role
As a Medical Sales Representative in Durban, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Surgical Equipment/Surgical Endoscopy, Surgical Devices/Sterile Devices, Surgical Instruments, and ENT product portfolios within the KwaZulu-Natal territory. You will build strong relationships with surgeons, healthcare professionals, procurement departments, and key stakeholders to drive sales growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations, theatre support, and clinical application support where required
- Support theatre cases and assist healthcare professionals with product usage and technical support
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within hospitals and healthcare institutions
- Manage and grow existing client accounts within both public and private healthcare sectors
- Maintain strong knowledge of healthcare systems, procurement processes, and competitor activity
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Prepare sales reports, quotations, and territory activity updates
- Attend industry events, product training sessions, and customer meetings
- Ensure high levels of customer service and relationship management
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Sales, or related field
- Minimum 35 years experience in medical device sales or related healthcare sales environment
- Proven sales track record within healthcare or medical devices
- Experience working with healthcare professionals in public and private sectors
- Strong understanding of hospital environments and procurement processes
