About the Role
A skilled and hands-on Maintenance Technician is required to plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities within a manufacturing/industrial environment. The role focuses on the active repair, servicing, and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency, compliance, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and carry out preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Manage and close maintenance work orders from initiation to completion.
- Ensure availability of tools, spares, and resources required for maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers when required.
- Monitor maintenance costs and support budget control.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety, legal, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
