About the Role
An established and well-regarded hospitality venue in Hermanus is seeking an experienced and results-driven Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of daily operations and overall business performance. This role is ideal for a strong hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the importance of operational control, and leads with confidence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Full oversight of daily operations, service delivery, and team performance
- Direct management of two senior managers and two junior managers
- Strong POS system knowledge, including stock control and audits
- Generation, analysis, and interpretation of operational and financial reports
- Identification of discrepancies and provision of clear, actionable insights to the owner
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ management experience within the hospitality industry
- Proven leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible and industry-related hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
