About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic External Sales Representative to spearhead the growth of a Johannesburg division for a leading importer and manufacturer of water treatment products. This unique, high-autonomy role combines active field sales with hands-on site management in Midrand.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and acquire new B2B and retail customers, including hardware stores, contractors, and industrial buyers.
- Nurture existing accounts to increase order values and ensure repeat business.
- Take ownership of the Johannesburg warehouse hub, including receiving, dispatching, and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Maintain a transparent sales calendar and provide regular pipeline updates to management.
- Consistently meet or exceed a monthly sales target of R200,000.
Requirements
- Proven track record in field sales, ideally within the hardware, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Exceptional self-management skills; comfortable working without daily in-person supervision.
- Comfortable balancing client-facing sales with hands-on stock management in a trade/warehouse environment.
- Proficient in digital communication, email, and shared calendars for remote reporting.
- A valid South African drivers licence is non-negotiable.
