An established leader in the air cargo and logistics sector is seeking a commercially focused Manager: Key Accounts to manage strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing existing accounts, acquiring new customers, negotiating pricing structures, and ensuring exceptional customer service across a portfolio of key accounts.
This role requires a customer-centric professional who can build trusted relationships, understand client requirements, and translate opportunities into profitable business outcomes. Working closely with operations, finance, and commercial teams, you will play a key role in strengthening market position and enhancing customer experience across multiple service offerings.

What Youll Do
Grow revenue through both new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers
Identify customer needs and propose tailored logistics and freight solutions
Retain customers through proactive engagement, regular visits, and service reviews
Resolve customer queries and complaints in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate CRM records, customer information, and sales opportunities
Negotiate annual rate increases and pricing structures
Review and approve rate loading and billing accuracy
Identify market opportunities, competitor activity, and emerging industry trends
Support contract renewals, extensions, and customer agreements
Partner with finance teams to manage debtor accounts and reduce outstanding debt
Contribute to technology and system improvements that enhance customer experience
What You Bring
Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
Minimum 2 years experience within the airline, freight, logistics, or cargo industry
Previous experience in customer service, account management, or sales support
Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills
Proven negotiation and conflict-resolution capability
Commercial awareness and value-based selling experience
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication, presentation, and administrative skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of freight systems and logistics processes advantageous
