About the Role

A manufacturing company requires a skilled Millwright to support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of plant utilities and equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring continuous production uptime and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain and monitor utilities equipment including boilers, compressors, chillers, and water systems
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules and planned servicing
  • Maintain records, logs, and compliance documentation
  • Support PLC/HMI troubleshooting and instrumentation calibration
  • Ensure compliance with OHS Act and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Education: Trade Test Millwright or Instrumentation Mechanician
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in utilities/maintenance within manufacturing/FMCG
  • Skills: PLC (Siemens S7), hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, fault finding
  • Knowledge: Utilities systems (boilers, refrigeration, compressors, water treatment)

Job Description

About the Role

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime through fault diagnosis and repair. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and installing/commissioning production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
