About the Role
A manufacturing company requires a skilled Millwright to support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of plant utilities and equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring continuous production uptime and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain and monitor utilities equipment including boilers, compressors, chillers, and water systems
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules and planned servicing
- Maintain records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Support PLC/HMI troubleshooting and instrumentation calibration
- Ensure compliance with OHS Act and safety regulations
Requirements
- Education: Trade Test Millwright or Instrumentation Mechanician
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in utilities/maintenance within manufacturing/FMCG
- Skills: PLC (Siemens S7), hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, fault finding
- Knowledge: Utilities systems (boilers, refrigeration, compressors, water treatment)
