About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer to join our dynamic team in JHB and play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the skills of our Financial service sales Agents. This is a rewarding opportunity to drive sales excellence within our BPO business by designing impactful training programs, coaching individuals, and fostering a culture of high performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Program Development: Collaborate with management to assess training needs and design tailored programs for specific sales campaigns.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions to strengthen sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
- Sales Coaching: Provide one-on-one mentorship, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and deliver actionable feedback.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess performance through call reviews, role-playing, and metrics analysis, offering constructive guidance for improvement.
- Sales Techniques: Teach effective selling strategies, including objection handling and closing techniques, to boost conversion rates.
- Product Knowledge: Ensure consultants have a deep understanding of products/services and can confidently communicate value to customers.
- Compliance & Regulations: Train teams on industry regulations, compliance standards, and ethical sales practices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and performance improvement plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and best practices, integrating them into training curricula.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in FSP training within a BPO or contact centre environment.
- Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and techniques.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire sales teams.
- Proficiency with training tools and technology.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
- Patience and skill in providing constructive feedback.
Qualifications
Relevant certifications (FAIS and SSETA accreditation advantageous).
