About the Role
Protea Placements is seeking an experienced Reimer Operator to join their team in Morokweng, NW. As a key member of our construction and concrete services company, you will be responsible for operating a Reimer mixer safely and efficiently on various construction sites across South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Reimer mixer safely and efficiently on various construction sites
- Mix, transport, and place concrete according to required specifications
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and cleanliness of the equipment
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and on-site safety requirements
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Valid Code 14 Drivers License with PDPC
- Certificate of competency for operating a Reimer mixer (or willingness to complete refresher training if required)
- Proven experience operating a Reimer or similar concrete mixer truck (35 years preferred)
- Solid understanding of concrete mixing and placement processes
