About the Role
A well-established IT company in the Paterson/Alicedale area is seeking a Junior IT Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing desktop support services to clients in the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain computer hardware and software systems
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for desktop issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as virus scanning and backups
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex issues
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of IT Desktop Support experience
- Relevant IT qualification (e.g. CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own Vehicle
Qualifications
- Formal education in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Bachelor’s degree)
