Industries: Fleet | Logistics | Transport | High-Value Sales This role is for a proven new-business hunter with experience selling into the logistics, transport, fleet, or trucking environment. The Role: You will be responsible for winning new commercial business for an established, large, market leader in a competitive market. This is a field-based, target-driven sales role requiring consistent prospecting, pipeline development, and deal closure. Key responsibilities include: -Actively sourcing and securing new fleet and commercial clients -Building, managing, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline -Managing the full sales cycle from cold prospecting to close -Engaging decision-makers and growing long-term commercial relationships -Taking full ownership of targets, activity levels, and results -This role offers high autonomy and high reward — performance directly drives earnings. Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable): -Proven new-business sales experience (hunter role) – minimum of 3 years in a similar role -Background in logistics, transport, fleet, or truck sales preferred -Comfortable with cold calling, door knocking, and self-generated leads -Strong commercial and negotiation ability -Self-disciplined, structured, and performance-driven -Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle -Own cellphone Package & Benefits: -Competitive basic salary -Uncapped commission (no ceiling on earnings) -Fuel card (280 litres per month) -Medical aid and pension fund -Laptop and 3G connectivity provided -Car allowance can be structured into TCOE -Vehicle tracking device installed (no cost) for demos, activity tracking, and SARS compliance Working Model: -Primarily remote / field-based -Weekly in-person sales meeting required -Office attendance expected when not in client meetings Who Will Succeed in This Role You: -Know how to build a pipeline from scratch -Measure success by activity, conversions, and revenue -Take accountability for outcomes — no excuses -Are motivated by commission and long-term earning potential -This is not a desk-based role. -This is not an account management role. -This is a high-activity, high-reward sales role.
