Guide Trainer Location: Limpopo, South Africa Salary: R28,000 – R38,000 (Negotiable DOE) | Live-In Position Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking an experienced and passionate Guide Trainer for a premier training facility located in Limpopo. This role offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to mentor aspiring Field Guides through both theoretical and practical training, while continuing to grow their own expertise within a well-established and expanding organization. Key Responsibilities: Deliver classroom-based theory training and conduct practical field sessions including game drives and walks Maintain strict safety protocols on campus and in the field Assist with student logistics and off-site outings Uphold and enhance high standards of training and program quality Provide academic mentorship and study support to students Assist in the creation and delivery of online course content Contribute to social media and marketing efforts Carry out campus management and general administrative duties Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on skills and experience Minimum Requirements: Must be a South African citizen CATHSSETA NQF4 qualification VPDA (Advanced Rifle Handling) SASSETA Rifle Proficiency (PFTC) Valid Driver’s License and PrDP DEAT Registered and SAPS Competency Certified Valid First Aid Certificate Proven and extensive 4×4 driving experience Minimum 5 years recent experience in luxury lodge-based guiding Excellent presentation and communication skills Fluent in spoken and written English Strong organizational and time-management skills Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated Able to work independently and within a team Solid computer literacy Previous experience in training, teaching, or management is highly advantageous Ideal Candidate Profile: A passionate and professional mentor with a commitment to conservation and education Comfortable leading groups in both classroom and wilderness settings Eager to grow within a dynamic company with expansion plans and promotion opportunities Energetic, disciplined, and motivated by the success of students
