About the Role
A privately owned island resort in Fiji is seeking an experienced, hands-on Management Couple to lead the full resort operation. This role is ideal for a couple who thrive in a remote environment, enjoy being highly visible across the property, and lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Activities, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
- Maintain consistent service standards and smooth departmental coordination.
- Drive guest satisfaction through visibility and proactive problem-solving.
- Support and guide department heads.
- People Leadership & Development:
- Lead and motivate a predominantly Fijian workforce.
- Build trust and engagement through culturally aware leadership.
- Implement structured onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Ensure all training is documented and aligned with SOPs.
- Guest Experience: Maintain a warm, professional presence throughout the resort. Engage with guests daily and resolve issues promptly. Elevate service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Compliance; Safety & Standards:
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, workplace compliance, and health & safety.
- Oversee risk management and safe work practices.
- Ensure all employees are properly trained before duties.
- Commercial & Administrative Responsibilities:
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Assist with inventory management and procurement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years in senior hospitality or resort management.
- Strong multidepartment operational leadership.
- Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
- Proven ability to train and develop teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of compliance, health & safety.
- Adaptability to remote island living.

Salary & Benefits
Base Compensation Salary: FJD $160;000 ZAR R1;360;000.
KPI Bonus: Up to FJD $20;000 ZAR R170;000.
