Role PurposePrivate Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to deliver exceptional pharmacy services to patients, doctors, and the public while overseeing departmental operations and achieving targeted profit margins. This role involves the processing and dispensing of medications for both inpatients and retail, including billing, stock management, and fostering positive customer interactions, all in line with established policies and audit requirements. The Pharmacy Manager will be part of the Pharmaceutical Department and will report directly to the Hospital Manager.Qualifications & Experience- BPharm- Current registration with South African Pharmacy Council -Preferably 3 years experience as a Pharmacy Manager. -Preferably 3 experience within private healthcare industry.-In-depth pharmaceutical knowledge.-Proven extensive infectious disease knowledge and antimicrobial stewardship experience, will be a strong recommendation.Computer literacy in HIS i.e Unisolve, Surgicom, Proclin and the MS Office package is essential.Key Responsibilities:- Clinical pharmacy and inventory oversight- Financial performance and profit optimization- Compliance with statutory regulations- Staff development and effective labor relations- Continuous quality improvement and management processesEarnings are Basic Salary including Pension and Health Aid Benefits.To apply for the position, send your Updated CV to us via email.
