About the Role

The Business Development Manager: Enterprise Sales will be responsible for driving new business development, implementing and managing sales strategies and campaigns, and achieving set sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the company’s products and solutions, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure achievements of set sales targets
  • Ensure achievement of set gross profit targets
  • New business development
  • Implementation and management of sales strategies and campaigns
  • Market all the company’s products and solutions to clients
  • Provide relevant information concerning the company’s products to potential clients
  • Collect and complete all relevant contracts and documentation from clients in a correct manner
  • Support new clients
  • Generate new sales leads
  • Build and manage relationships within an expanding client base
  • Generate daily and weekly reports of all sales activities
  • Maintain excellent inter-departmental relationships
  • Stay abreast of market developments and competitor activity
  • Comply with risk and compliance requirements in submitting new applications

Requirements

  • Matric
  • A formal qualification in a Sales & Customer service-related field is highly desirable
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in new business sales
  • Good communication skills
  • Strategy development and implementation skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Drive and persistence
  • Results and customer focused
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Ability to seek information from clients
  • Possess good cold-calling skills
  • PC literate in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
