About the Role
A prestigious Luxury Safari Lodge situated in Balule Nature Reserve, on the outskirts of the Kruger National Park, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Management Couple to join its lodge operations team. Operating within the premium Hospitality and Safari industry, this opportunity is ideally suited to a hands-on couple who work seamlessly together and thrive in a high-end, guest-focused safari environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and train Front of House staff to luxury Hospitality standards
- Oversee central stores stock takes and ordering in collaboration with Chefs
- Deliver exceptional guest hosting from arrival to departure
- Conduct room checks, camp readiness inspections, and guest touch-points
- Handle guest accounts, payments, petty cash, and gratuities
- Manage ordering, stock control, and FOH administration
- Coordinate special guest experiences (sundowners, bush breakfasts, private events)
- Conduct weekly town trips when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in a 4- or 5-star lodge environment (Front of House experience essential)
- Strong administrative, organisational, and planning skills within Management operations
- Confident and professional guest hosting with a strong service-excellence mindset
- Ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff with a hands-on approach
Qualifications
- Partner 1: Front of House & Assistant Manager – FGASA Level 1 minimum; Trails Guide preferred (or equivalent)
- Partner 2: Guide & Assistant Manager – Previous guiding experience in a 4- or 5-star Safari Lodge (or equivalent)
Salary & Benefits
