About the Role
The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with statutory legislation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and drive business growth in the heart of Cape Town City Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting
- Ensure invoicing, collections, and account accuracy for debtors
- Manage payments, reconciliations, and supplier accounts for creditors
- Oversee company and related bank accounts, reconciliations, and cash management
- Approve and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Implement internal controls, streamline procedures, and support audits
- Ensure all VAT, EMP201, and IRP5 obligations are met
Requirements
- B.Com Degree completed
- SAICA articles advantageous
- Minimum 5 years relevant finance experience
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Pastel
- Strong financial management, analytical, and numerical skills
- Team management, leadership, and excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, self-motivated, and systems-focused
- Ethical, professional, and able to interact at all levels
