Cape Town City Centre: Forensic Analyst

Are you an experienced investigator with a passion for intelligence gathering, forensic analysis, and crime prevention? We are recruiting for a leading organisation operating within the investigative and security sector that is looking to appoint a skilled Forensic Analyst to join its Cape Town team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning complex information into actionable intelligence. Key Responsibilities Receive, validate, manage, and dispatch alerts. Monitor and maintain intelligence and investigative databases. Gather, analyse, and verify information from multiple sources. Review communication logs and intelligence reports. Conduct vehicle profiling, movement tracking, and pattern analysis. Analyse CCTV footage and other investigative evidence. Compile detailed intelligence and forensic reports. Draft sworn statements and supporting documentation. Provide expert testimony and present forensic findings when required. Liaise with internal teams, law enforcement agencies, clients, and other stakeholders. Utilise investigative technologies and third-party platforms to support intelligence gathering and analysis. Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience within law enforcement, investigations, intelligence analysis, forensic investigations, or a related field. Proven experience in data analysis, intelligence gathering, and investigative reporting. Previous exposure to criminal investigations, forensic reporting, or courtroom testimony. Strong understanding of investigative processes and evidence management. Valid South African driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle. Willingness to undergo comprehensive background screening. Ability to work shifts within a 24/7 operational environment. Skills & Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced research and information-gathering skills. High level of digital literacy and confidence working across multiple data platforms. Ability to analyse large volumes of information and identify critical findings. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
