About the Role
The Senior Electrical Engineering Manager (Design) will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance across projects, identifying complex technical challenges, and developing innovative solutions to drive engineering process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- General Act as a technical expert within the organisation, providing guidance and insight across projects
- Identify and address complex technical challenges, offering innovative and practical solutions
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of engineering processes
- Lead or support project teams to achieve key milestones and deliverables
- Project Planning: Conduct due diligence assessments on client sites and facilities
- Analyse electrical consumption data and model demand profiles
- Develop conceptual designs for energy generation solutions
- Prepare budget estimates and compile concept reports
- Project Design: Produce detailed designs for energy generation and efficiency systems
- Specify and select appropriate equipment and technologies
- Develop baseline reports, tender documentation, and technical drawings
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs) and supporting design documentation
Requirements
- PrEng registered
- 10 years in the Engineering field specializing in Renewable Energy / Electrical Engineering (Solar, Batteries, Hydro etc)
