About the Role

The Site Laboratory Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that all site laboratories comply with SANAS 17025 standards, facilitating the provision of material testing services for the civil engineering and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that site laboratories are set up according to SANAS 17025 standards
  • Conduct regular audits of site labs to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provide training and support to site labs
  • Maintain accurate record of all compliance activities
  • Identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions to address them
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management

Requirements

  • Experience in Geotechnical Materials
  • Knowledge of SANAS 17025 standards and requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
