Transport & Depot Coordinator Packhouse Planning | Depot & Cold Store Coordination | Transport Management We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport & Depot Coordinator to join our logistics team. This role is ideal for an experienced operations professional looking to take ownership within a fast-paced logistics, packhouse, depot, cold store, and transport environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating daily logistics activities, supporting planning processes, managing service provider relationships, and ensuring the efficient execution of transport and operational plans. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support packhouse planning activities, including schedule updates, progress monitoring, and communication of changes. Assist with depot and cold store operations, including intake planning, dispatch coordination, pallet movements, stock flow management, and capacity planning. Coordinate transport bookings, monitor load movements, track deliveries, and ensure on-time execution of transport plans. Maintain and update logistics reports, planning documents, reconciliations, and operational records. Liaise effectively with packhouses, depots, cold stores, transporters, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution. Support daily operational decision-making, identify potential risks, and assist with contingency planning. Contribute to service provider performance improvements and operational efficiency initiatives. Take on increasing responsibility in areas such as depot oversight, transport rate negotiations, service provider management, cost control, and logistics planning. Requirements Previous experience in logistics, transport, agriculture, fruit export, cold storage, supply chain, or packhouse operations. Strong coordination, organisational, and follow-up skills. Excellent communication and relationship management abilities. Good understanding of operational planning and logistics execution. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Professional approach when dealing with service providers and internal teams. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership.
