St. Francis Bay: Bookkeeper

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team in St. Francis Bay. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
• Maintain accurate general ledger, creditors, and debtors
• Oversee and control the creditors’ function
• Review payroll outputs and ensure accurate and timeous payments
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register
• Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis
• Prepare bimonthly cash flow reports
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts
• Submit VAT, PAYE, and statutory returns accurately and on time
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and audit packs
• Support the Financial Manager with reporting and ad hoc finance requirements

Requirements

Minimum 4 years’ bookkeeping experience. Relevant qualification in Accounting / Bookkeeping advantageous.
